if i do have to give up on the idea of love, and marry someone that i choose on an objective basis... someone who i only like and not love, someone who i have known only a very short while.... well why not marry someone who i already know, a friend, someone i am comfortable around, someone who knows and likes me for myself, someone i do care about and know. that is the safe route. the only problem with that is, no one who fits the above description would want to marry me :P

ive taken risks before and always been burnt... i dont know if im willing to take a risk again
Love my dear is a contrived notion. It really is about commitment, attachment and mutual respect. I guess thats what makes up that thing they call love ....atleast in the long run I believe! So my point being...stop thinking about falling in love and THEN marrying someone...it'll happen with time.
Oh and it doesnt make a difference if you've known someone for a long time...people change and sometimes its HARDER to change with them.....so one cant really say its better to marry someone you've known....because you might not truly know them;) !
