bob saget and opera

so maybe im uncultured.... but i enjoyed bob saget way more than the opera. whos bob saget you ask? remember that show full house? remember the dad, danny tanner ( bob saget) ? remember how sweet and nice and... nice he was? well he is the EXACT opposite. he has a filthy filthy mouth! and he is hilarious!!! let me give u an example of his jokes. he says to his dad.... dad u r a m*****f******, and dad says.... yes thats right, i am a m*****f*****, i f*** your mother. ok so maybe out of context it doesnt seem to be so funny.... but trust me he was great. and the funniest thing was that every once in a while he would apologise! he'd say something particularly dirty and then he'd be like.... that is WRONG, that is so wrong. im so sorry!

actually the opera was good too... the whole experience was fun. went to the san franscisco opera house (beautiful btw!) and i went with a bunch of people so that was great. the opera itself.... well it was kind of like a trashy romance novel.... roman general falls in love with gaulish priestess and htey have a couple of kids (who no one can know about) then roman general ditches her and hooks up with another priestess and wants her to leave with him. what dumb roman doesnt know is that priestesses talk! so first priestess finds out, sells him out to her tribe, gets him condemed to death and then feels guilty so tell her tribe the truth that she slept with him (a big sin) and gets herself condemed to death and then he feels remorse and says he loves her. yippee hooray... and what do they get for their efforts? they are burnt at the stake! but well the music and the singing was good (once u got used the the shrieking women!) lol so maybe im not an opera person :)
